Summary & Review
Whew, things are picking up. Logan and Lana, along with Logan’s FBI team, end up in Delaney Grove together. Jake and Lana are working toward their endgame, while Logan is getting closer to the truth of everything.
The tension in this one is phenomenal. I mean, they’ve all had some tension, but just knowing how close Logan is to discovering everything really kicks things up a notch. Plus, now that we’ve learned so much about Lana’s past, I’m anxious to see how she plans to end things!
I also love how well this author has leaned on the morally gray aspects. Obviously, Lana lives in the gray, but Logan is starting to drift a little. He knows there’s right and wrong in the world, but the more he learns about the serial killer he’s chasing, the more he understands their reasoning and believes the victims deserved what they got. It’s so interesting to watch his inner monologue as he continues to work this case.
The end of this one has the biggest cliffhanger yet. Whew. I’m so excited to see where things go from here!
