Summary & Review
Um, I’m sorry. Do you hate me or love me, Leigh Rivers? Because FUCK. This book destroyed me, just like the first two. Thank you, but also – what did I do wrong? 😭
No, but for real, this is the PERFECT ending to this trilogy. It’s just as difficult, dark, heartfelt, and fucked up as the first two. I loved every second, even when I was extremely stressed out and wasn’t sure how things could possibly end happily. But OMG, Rivers, you DID it. You made a perfect ending that was logical and made complete sense. Was it a complete HEA? No, maybe not, but it was the perfect HEA for this mess (and I mean that with love and adoration).
You might be one of the most phenomenal writers I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The heartbreak, the hate, the love, the turmoil – it was all so real and difficult to experience. I cannot express enough how much I love that this story was truly brought to life and made me feel every single emotion possible. What a wonderful and heartbreaking experience. Thank you so much. 🖤
And the narrators? As phenomenal as they have been for the first two books. Which is truly amazing. While Leigh Rivers created an interesting and devastating world, it really was brought to life with the help of the fantastic and extremely talented group of narrators. Altogether, you guys created a true masterpiece. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be able to rave enough to give this story justice, but I’ll definitely try!
Fucking awesome. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. Phenomenal. Difficult. Intense. Devastating.
Those are only a few words to describe how I felt by the end of this adventure and it’s not nearly enough to encapsulate the entire experience.
