Summary & Review
So the end of book 1 shows Hadley questioning Lana about why she’s taken over the life of a dead girl. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to jump into this one and see what was going to happen next!
Lana’s character does a wonderful job deflecting and evading and it’s always interesting to see what she’ll do next. The way she is written is just so clever and intelligent.
In this one, Lana and Logan continue to get closer. Logan is focused heavily on catching a serial killer who goes by “the Boogeyman”, as well as trying to continue finding links between several victims of another serial killer (Lana).
We also get to learn a little bit more about Jake, Lana’s BFF and partner. I enjoyed getting more glimpses of his character and hope he gets a lot more page time in the future.
And just like with book 1, this one ends with another interesting cliffhanger!
