Ugh, why are all B.K. Borison’s books so cute? I think I might love this one more than First-Time Caller. I just adore Jackson and Delilah. 🖤 They’re such a beautiful balance and really just even each other out. Such flawed, wonderful characters.
By the end of the book, I decided Jackson Carter is my new book BF. He’s so awkward and honest and it’s just stinkin’ adorable. You all can have Xaden and Rhysand – Jackson is mine. 😁
The humor and banter in this book was top notch. Borison truly has a talent for Rom-Coms and I’m here for it. 👏🏻 I currently have all of her available books on hold on Libby so I can devour everything else she’s ever written and I could not be more excited!
I will add that before starting this book, I read it was inspired by When Harry Met Sally, which I’ve actually never seen. I know, I know! I plan to rectify this as soon as possible. This book has actually inspired me to watch the movie that inspired its story. 😂 If that doesn’t tell you how much of an impact it made, I’m not sure what will.
For real, though. Borison has quickly risen to my top 5 authors. I will have to save up the funds to purchase physical copies of her books at some point so I can see them displayed on my bookshelf every time I walk by. I’ll probably also purchase the audio versions because how can I not? I could enjoy these stories while cleaning and driving? Yes, please!
If you’re looking for a new Rom-Com series to dive into or a new author to explore, look no further! Try the Heartstrings series or anything by B.K. Borison. I may not have read all her work yet, but with the way she writes I have no doubt all of her work will be phenomenal. 🖤
