Summary & Review

Well, well, Jacklyn Parker. I see you’re back at it and I thank you for your service. 🫡 These stories are always a blast, with great characters, a fun plot, and a lot of spice.

I’m not gonna lie, I saw James Cassidy’s name and I was immediately ecstatic for more Australian James! He is, however, not an Australian character in this story. But don’t worry! He is 2 characters (twins) and that’s double the fun, so no complaints here. Plus, Savannah Thomas is the other narrator. 😍 These two are the perfect duo. Ever since listening to the Filthy duet, I will forever consume anything these two narrate!

And thank you, Ms. Parker, for giving them such a delightful story to bring to life. Without your wonderful characters and intriguing plot, this wouldn’t have been the same. Even with phenomenal narrators.

So basically, this was a team effort and a well-done one at that! 👏

For this story, we dive back into Las Vegas and into the secret Men Under Revue group. But this time we have twins, Levi and Lucas, who are looking to find a bride. One bride for the two of them. That they can share. 😉 And they’re both wonderful characters, written with such a beautiful bond and relationship while also maintaining their own personalities. Parker does a great job of showing their similarities as well as their differences and James Cassidy does a wonderful job of giving a unique voice to each brother.

We also have Tessa, a successful actress who is tired of the life she was born into. She wants to just live without the pressure of being what everyone wants and expects her to be. So, she disappears. But not after a night with a male dancer who she formed an instant connection with. Crazily enough, when she shows up to dance at a Las Vegas club, she sees him again (or so she thinks). I don’t want to give much away, but Savannah Thomas and Jacklyn Parker crafted a wonderfully flawed character who struggles to shrug off the pressure of fame and just enjoy being herself. Tessa is a beautifully written character.

This book was just as fun as the last two and I wasn’t the least bit surprised that I enjoyed it so much. 🖤
