Welcome back! We’re excited to shine our spotlight on another talented narrator. These amazing individuals don’t just read us stories. They help bring them to life with their amazing voices and unique skills. 🖤
For these spotlight posts, we plan to alternate between male and female narrators, ideally. We want to spread the love and appreciate equally. 😊 We’ll discuss the first time we remember hearing them narrate a book, our favorite book they’ve narrated, any pseudonyms they use (if they’re already well known), and maybe some interesting facts about them if we’re lucky enough to find some!
Alright, who’s ready? Drum roll, please! 🥁 Our next narrator to shine a spotlight on is…… LUCY RIVERS!
Why did you choose this narrator?
She is extremely talented and has been popping up in so many of my recent audiobooks. With her delightful narration fresh on my mind, it just made sense that she’d be the next narrator I’d bring up. 😊
Does this narrator have any well-known pseudonyms they also work under?
According to an interview she’s done, Lucy Rivers is actually the pseudonym she uses for narrating romance books. Her real name is Amy Landon and she narrates books under that name as well.
What was the first book you heard this person narrate?
Insatiable, by Leigh Rivers.
What was your favorite book this person has narrated?
Oh, that’s a tough one. I really love the Edge of Darkness series by Leigh Rivers, and all the narrators who brought it to life. But I more recently listened to Bad Bishop by L.J. Shen and that one was so well done also. I’m honestly not sure I can choose between those!

Do you know any interesting facts about this narrator?
I can only really know what she’s shared via social media and interviews, but yes. I have learned some delightful and interesting facts!
- She has narrated over 300 books under the name Lucy Rivers, but combined with the books she’s narrated under the name Amy Landon, it’s nearing 800 books
- Using her actual name, she narrates a wide variety of books – science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, etc. Using her pseudonym, she strictly narrates romance.
- She went to graduate school to be a Shakespearean actor
