The Handyman, by Britney King
Well Instagram brought this book to our attention and it sounded so interesting! A thriller with a unique premise is difficult to come by, but this one had us sold right away. I mean, read the blurb for yourself (per Amazon): From bestselling author Britney King comes a hypnotic and terrifying psychological thriller about a…

His & Hers, by Alice Feeney
Well, our book club is known for its love of mystery/thriller books and Alice Feeney is, of course, such a well-known author of this genre. So of COURSE we decided to read one of her books! Honestly, the idea of comparing this book to the popular TV series was also a huge selling point because,…

Stolen Tongues, by Felix Blackwell
Since our book club thoroughly enjoyed The Sorrowstones, we decided to try out another book by Felix Blackwell – Stolen Tongues! Nobody’s Fault?, by Patricia Hermes
Our next joint review is a little different. Ronni shared a TikTok from WickedGenXer, who was discussing a traumatic book he remembered from his childhood. So of course we had to buy it and see just how traumatic it was. For science 🤷♀️ This book is meant for children in grades 4-5 and follows the…

The Silversmith, by LJ Claren
Book Stats Book Rating Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5 Spice: 🌶️/ 5 Summary & Review I cannot believe I waited so long to read this book. I mean, yeah, it came out less than a year ago, but I kept seeing people rave about it. So when the audiobook version became available on NetGalley, I figured it…
