City of Gods and Monsters (Book 1), by Kayla Edwards
Book Stats Book Rating Overall: ⭐⭐⭐/5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️/5 Summary & Review I didn’t totally love this. I didn’t hate it, but I definitely didn’t love it. I’ve seen it posted on social media so many times that I had super high hopes. Firstly, why was Loren so annoyingly helpless all the time? I get that…

The Flower of Templar, by M. Sweetbriar
Book Stats Book Rating Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 Summary & Review The plot was interesting and I do love a good academic setting. And magic. I liked Violet’s character a lot because she has a quiet resilience, despite the hand she’s been dealt in life. She faced traumas and has been pushed aside and deemed…

Good For Her, by Tylor Paige
Book Stats Book Rating Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5 Spice Rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/ 5 Summary & Review Okay, this one was FUN. I was pulled in immediately and enjoyed every minute of it. This is considered a horror/dark Rom-Com type of book. It’s unique, cheesy, and entertaining. There are several tropes, such as – Second Chance, Fake Dating,…
